The seal is applied upon the tube orifice coming from a spool using 3 different stations. The seal is punched on the 1st station once the foil is positioned at orifice level. In the 2nd station the seal is held in place by the mandrel suction action and is welded to the tubes by means of a high-temperature pad or Hi-frequency. Seal presence is check by a photo-cell detecting device in the 3rd station.

The tubes are capped by a mechanical unit on the machine, which can apply press-on caps or screw caps, depending on the format being produced.
The caps are picked up and positioned by feeders installed in the upper part of the machine.
